First off all, instead of a pointless horn on my head. I’d have a barrel of the Combat Derby Boy’s Bat. Then on my feet would be the magical Elite Turfs. For my Pièce de résistance, I would have the ability to poop out rainbow cupcakes with frosting! Finally, my long flowing mane would be crimped just like Dead or Alive so I can spin you round like a record.

Crimped hair? Yah that’s right, I’m bringing it back and I’m doing it with style.

My favorite Bat(s)

This may come as a surprise to you, but yours truly does not play softball. I ride mountain bikes. In fact Elite was the one that designed our jerseys. I don’t play softball because I don’t like balls going towards my face over 100mph.

But that doesn’t mean I don’t know a thing or two about bats. Shoot I’ve spent enough time in the cage that sits behind the other side of my office wall. In fact I’m in there anytime Mr. Elite isn’t here. Oh man…not sure if that was a smart thing to say. But I do it for research. Ya, that’s it research. In order for me to blog about softball, I have to at least know something about it, right.

Anyhow there’s a couple of bats that I REALLY dig. I’ve swung them enough in the cage to give an educated response to the question that most players will get, “what’s your favorite bat, and why?”

The Combat Virus Plague has to be one of the hottest bats I’ve swung. The bat feels great, and the ball literally jumps off the bat. I forgot to mention that I my hands don’t ache with this bat if I hit off the end cap (common occurrence with me).

The other bat I like is the Dan Smith Plague Team Edition. Man this bat is pretty hot too! Anyone that comes to the Elite OC Cage and swings one will agree, the bat is smokin’ hot.

Though I can hit the ball passed the L Screen, I’m no where near the level as most of you are at. But when I put the ball on the T, I can hit the back tarp with vengeance!

For the last week we’ve talked about the Combat Derby Boy’s Bat. We’ve sold a bunch of those and so far the verdict, “It’s Hot!” Super Star Pitcher, Robert Sena agrees that this bat is HOT and even provided his seal of approval.

Now that I think about it. This article is a bit boring, bland and bleh. Don’t get me wrong, Robert is cool and all, the Combat Derby Boy’s Bat is great, but it needs a “wow factor.” I’ve got it…..

More Combat Derby Boy’s Review Videos

We’ve been testing the Combat Derby Boy’s Bat for the last 2 days and so far the people who have swung it, are really impressed.

For $179.99, this bat is wicked hot and very durable. In the videos, we had it up to 200 swings. But by noon today, the bat had a few more swings that could bring it over 500 total. No paint cracking, no breakage and we were using the Worth Max Spec EM12CU Max 400lbs Max .44COR balls.
